Here at Wake Up With Make Up, our team are passionate, skilled and experienced beauty and cosmetic tattoo makeup artists. We love permanent makeup as it provides a permanent way to enhance your natural beauty while minimising the time spent on your daily beauty regime. Alongside cosmetic tattoo treatments, we also provide beauty treatments to enhance and rejuvenate your skin.

Our permanent makeup clinics are located in Christchurch and Queenstown.

Miranda Hill

Founder & Artist

Miranda is the founder and creative force behind Wake Up With Make Up. With a background in both makeup artistry and skin health, she brings over two decades of experience to the world of cosmetic tattooing.

As a hands-on business owner, Miranda has shaped WUWMU into a trusted name in the industry. Her leadership style is grounded in support, high standards and leading by example - fostering a team culture that is both professional and deeply passionate.

Miranda is located in Christchurch, however she travels to Queenstown regularly to stay connected with her clients and team across both locations.

Charmaine

Queenstown Licensee & Artist

Charmaine is a talented PMU Artist and Licensee for WUWMU, with international qualifications in beauty therapy and a strong background as an advanced skin therapist in a leading appearance medicine clinic, Charmaine brings a deep understanding of skin health to her work.

Trained in cosmetic tattooing in Auckland, Charmaine loves how her dual specialities complement each other. Her calm, caring approach and eye for detail have made her a trusted name in the industry.

Charmaine is located in Queenstown, where she raises her daughter and makes the most of everything their stunning hometown has to offer.

Kaysee Hammett

Operations Manager


Kaysee brings structure, strategy behind the scenes as Operations Manager. With a background spanning across corporate administration, property, events, social media and digital marketing, she ensures the day-today runs smoothly - so our artists can focus on making clients feel confident and empowered. She oversee’s the business logistics, marketing strategy and client communication, helping to grow the brand while keeping our standards high and our vibe strong.
Kaysee is based in Queenstown, where she raises her three children alongside her husband.
